How long we keep each type of information:
Account and profile information (your name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, and the profiles of any family members you add) is kept for as long as your account is active.
Appointment, booking and consultation records, including prescriptions and reports, are kept for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for the period required by the healthcare record-keeping obligations that apply to us and to the doctors, laboratories and clinics on our platform.
Payment and transaction records, including invoices, are kept for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and payment regulations. These are retained even after an account is closed.
One-time passwords (OTPs) used to sign in are valid for 10 minutes and are replaced each time a new one is requested.
Sign-in sessions expire automatically after 15 days, after which you need to sign in again.
Records relating to fraud, misuse, safety incidents or legal disputes are kept for as long as necessary to deal with the matter and to meet our legal obligations.
What happens when you delete your account
When you delete your account, either from Profile and then Delete Account inside the app or by contacting us, your profile is deactivated immediately. It stops being visible to you, to doctors, and to laboratories and clinics on the platform, and you can no longer sign in with it.
We do not erase every record straight away. Booking history, prescriptions, reports and payment records are retained for the periods described above, because we are required to keep them. Records retained in this way are kept apart from active use, are not used to contact you, and are not used for any other purpose.
Asking us to erase your information
You may ask us to erase the personal information that we are not legally required to keep. Contact us on 022-48930212 or 85912 51456 from, or quoting, your registered mobile number. We will verify your identity and complete your request within 30 days. If any information has to be kept, we will tell you what it is and why.
